This season begins deep in the heart of the Borneo jungle. Two tribes, Kejaman and Sihan will compete separately for individual immunity within their tribe. That’s right. There will be NO tribal immunities this season. Instead, each tribe will be completely separated from each other until merge. They will have their own challenges, their own tribal councils, and one person will be voted off of each tribe until merge. That means both tribes will come into the merge with equal members. How will this effect the game play throughout the season? Let’s take a look at how each tribe is coming together….
KEJAMAN TRIBE
Gerald Confesses…
So I'm already starting the wheels in my head. They are turning like there is no tomorrow! I already feel like i'm the biggest target in this game and that I'm totally going to go first. I doubt it though, because honestly i'm fucking awesome. I like the whole atmosphere of this game and also the fact that I HARDLY knew anyone. I know a few from the other tribe and honestly I felt like maybe I should be on that tribe. But then I was thinking it over and if I was on that tribe I would totally be looked at as someone to be voted out. Which I would really hate.
Im really in fear of BOB and I don't know why. I've always had this weird thing with older men that makes me scared of them. It's not that I don't like older men (hunnay puleeze) but there is something about them that intimdates me. BOB is attractive in my opinion but at the same time he's very...i don't know scary! I def think he could be some competeition unless I get to know him, which I plan to do. I want to form alliances with two people that I can trust and I want one of them to be him.
Gerald and Amanda…
Amanda: ok so i know its early in the game but i learned quick in my last game that i need to act quick so what do you say we stick together Gerald: i was thinking maybe we should have something Gerald: i wasn't sure if i should out right ask for it tho lol Amanda: lol, i just dint want to make the same mistakes twice Gerald: I feel like i could trust you Gerald: you seem very smart and honest Amanda: your used to hosting so you have to be smart about games lol Gerald: i'm pretty smart Gerald: So do we have something here? because wheels are turning in my head already lol Amanda: im up for it if you are Gerald: I'm totally down for it Gerald: who have you talked to so far? Gerald: from first looks, i got a really weird vibe from Bob i don't know why Gerald: he kind of intimidates me Amanda: lol, i just wrote in my journal that he looks like one of those online stalker guys looking to hook up Gerald: oh i know Gerald: i'll probably change my opinion on him when i meet him Amanda: ive only talked to jacob and preston briefly earlier Gerald: yeah Gerald: they're both very quiet Gerald: i hate that about these games that some people are very quiet Gerald: i could seriously see people going after me because i was once active in org Amanda: jacob looks quiet, he told me he has been playing for about a year and a half Gerald: yeah he's active in the community Gerald: he seems like a nice guy Amanda: i cant wait for challenges Gerald: me too Gerald: are you good at them? Gerald: im kinda bad at tribe ones Amanda: im competitive so i try Gerald: im iffy sometimes, im good at some stuff then at other stuff i completely don't get
Gerald confesses…
I really like Amanda. She's amazingly smart and I think me and her could have a great friendship. I think I would rather want a friendship with her rather than an alliance. For now tho the alliance is nice to have. I've found one of the two people I want to attach myself and it feels good that i found them early. It was kind of strange for an alliance to already be brought to my attention because I didn't expect it to come so early. I thought maybe later me and her would talk about it but beyond that I had not idea. She scores major points in my book.
Amanda confesses…
tonight i got home from work and taked to gerald first. i really like him and we have made a connection. we have also sort of made an alliance. i was blunt on starting something but hey its never too soon to act, especially when there are only 3 girls in this tribe!!!!!!
Gerald and Jacob…
Jacob: So, are you excited about the challenge tommorow? Gerald: yes! Gerald: im very excited Gerald: even tho i'll proll suck at it Jacob: lmao same Gerald: i would say im ok at challenges but not that good you know>? Jacob: Yeah, I know how you feel. Gerald: have you talked to anyone recently? Jacob: I've only talked to Amanda and Preston really. They seem nice, what about you? Gerald: same Gerald: i haven't seen anyone else on Jacob: I wonder how this new twist is going to change the game... Gerald: it'll probably have people backing away from winning immunity Gerald: im sure winning it would put someone out as a threat Jacob: That's true Gerald: i don't like this first impressions chatty thing that the first week is about lol Gerald: call me old fashion but we're all here to play a game right Jacob: Yup Jacob: So, I wonder how the other tribe is holding up Gerald: probably the same as us Gerald: it can't be much different Jacob: I guess that doesn't really matter though...
Jacob confesses…
I've only really talken to Gerald, Amanda, and Preston so far. Gerald and I clicked right away, he seems like a great guy. Amanda and I had soooo much in common that it was quite freaky. Preston, well...what can I say about Preston? He's a great guy, and I know that he's going to be some tough competition down the road, but I think if I play my cards right Him and I can allign and get far in the game.
Fey confesses…
"Welcome," they say. "Have fun!" They say. "And the twist? Individual immunity!" Fey's jaw drops open. "Well I'll be damned." She whispers just beneath her breath taking a moment to covertly survey the crowd for hopefully allies.
Fey and Mathew…
Mathew : excited for the game to start? Fey : definitely but the twist is giving me the heebies Mathew : me too. i do kind of like it though because i was worried about missing challenges Mathew : at least now i cant let my tribe down
Fey and Bob…
Bob : You would be Fey? Right? Fey : the one, the only, the fey Bob : It's hard to be the one and only, when your name is Bob. Fey :better capitalize that or you may think me some woodland fairy thing Fey :totally unoriginaly, I hope you told your parents how dissapointed you were Bob : Yeah, especially since I was named after my father. Bob : Shockingly unoriginal. Fey : i was named for my grandmother, I just got around the plainness Bob : That's cool. My grandfather was named Herbert, so at least i avoided that fate... Fey : there's the silver lining, it could've been worse Fey : much worse Bob : Yes, I am blessed there. Fey : herbie Fey : can i call you herbie now? Bob : Yes, it can be our little secret. Bob : As long as you don't think I am some expressive Volkwagon, things should be fine. Bob : True... that would totally make things interesting. Fey : you're not the love bug? Fey : pardon my dissapointment Bob :That's OK. I don;t think anyone could live up to the standards of the love bug, but it is something to shoot for. Bob : Maybe someday i will achieve it. Bob : no one respects the love bug anymore... Fey : i respect the love bug, herbie Bob : Well, that's why your definitely "one and only" instead of "just like evrybody else." Fey : an original they say Bob : I always perfer originals. Fey : then you'll have no problems with me Bob : Makes games so much more interesting to have people who are all cookie cutter-like Fey : they only differ by flavor, I hear ya Bob : exactly. I usually get stuck on the tribe with all the 14 year old boys, who fancy them selves king of the world. Yet, they all seem the same way to me. Fey : one's choclate chip and another oatmeal raisin...no real difference Bob : exactly. What's the fun in that. Fey : if one is like star shaped then we're talking cookies Bob : Star shaped cookies! I guess they could be sort of fun, a little dangerous with those sharp edges. Fey : make for good throwing darts Fey : the way I cook anyways
Fey confesses…
BOB - Immediately clicked. Great sense of humor. Subjects changed once they got old. No staleness to conversation.
Bob confesses…
Fey is instantly like able. I need to figure her out as bit. My best alliances have always been with women, yet typically women 26+. She seems a little on the young side for my tastes (in alliance partners, no dirty thoughts) but seems quirky enough to have a shot. She is a player, no questions asked. Some of the little boys will get hooked into her little act, and unknowingly be eaten alive by it. I may be eaten alive as well, but at least I won't be shocked when she shows her fangs.
Potential. Perhaps I will be sampling her cookies on day 39. We'll see...
Amanda confesses…
well today is the first day the board is open. Already I see some familiar faces.
I am going to start off by giving you my impression of people on looks alone, starting right at the top
gerald-looks like a cocky mommas boy who’s main objective of the game is to cause trouble.
fey-she looks cool, she looks like someone I would get along with, but she also looks like she could have a bitchy side.
sammi-she is one of the familiar faces i had mentioned before. i was in an org with her before. She’s a teenager who has no other life than the computer. She is a very nice girl and gave me lots of help with computer stuff. but she is a follower she attaches on to someone and follows their every word. She is also easily manipulated.
myke-he is the other familiar face. he was in the same game as sammi and i. he was supposedly part of my alliance but he was barley EVER on. he did make it pretty far into the game but just because he was not a threat to anyone. he was inactive most of the time, barley did comps...to me he was useless.
matthew-he looks like one of those computer dorks who overanalyzes everything. He looks like a nice person but also looks like a follower not a leader.
bob-he looks like one of those online pervs whos just trying to hook up. he looks sly, from his pic he looks untrustworthy.
preston-he looks fun. but also immature. I think I may get along with him good.
jacob-he looks like he’s 12 years old. A dork with no friends who cruises the internet just trying to be accepted.
so there it is my first impressions from looks alone. I’m not sure if knowing sammi and myke from another org is going to help me or hurt me. I was kinda the reason sammi was evicted in my last org. but we have chatted a few times since then. But I played the villian in my last game and was a total bitch so I hope her knowing that doesn’t hurt me in this game. Oh well this should be fun anyway whether my stay is short or long.
Amanda and Sammi…
Amanda: were tribemates Sammi: I know, haha Amanda: have you talked to anyone yet? Sammi: no one! Sammi: have you talked to anyone? Amanda: i talked to gerald, preston and jacob Sammi: aw man, you suck, lol Sammi: Ive talked to you Amanda: they were all very quiet though Amanda: mykes on our team too ha ha' Sammi: I know. woo. Amanda: how many other games r u playing Sammi: uhhh Sammi: 2.. 3.. 4 Sammi: 5 Amanda: damn Amanda: your a busy girl Sammi: no 4, lol, I havent been accept for the 5th yet Sammi: I know! I dunno how it happened Amanda confesses…
talked to sammi today...shes playing like 5 games. she said they are all starting at once. hmmmm i wonder how dedicated she can be to this one if shes in so many......

Mathew and Bob…
Bob: Hey, Mathew... Mathew: hey bob Bob: I thought you retired or something... Mathew: i did Bob: Awesome Mathew: im actually retired right now Bob: cool. gives you more time to play games. Mathew: exactly Bob: I should try that, but we have a shortage on golfer's pants around here... to bad... Mathew: yeah, thats a shame. i wear my golfers pants 24/7 Bob: Yeah, I bought a pair of faux golfer's pants, but it wasn't the same... Mathew: nope. sometimes you just have to pay more for the real thing Bob: Yep, I agree. Life is better when everything is real. Or something like that... Mathew: yeah Mathew: what do you think of the twist? Bob: Emmm. I guess it's kinda different. Bob: I think it may make it more tempting to keep sucky players around, which i hate doing. Mathew: thats what i was just thinking Mathew: that maybe i should just suck at the challenge Bob: yeah, that comes naturally for me. Mathew: me too most of the time actually Mathew: im easily confused Mathew: of course, reading the rules might help that Bob: challenges have rules? Dammit, I knew I was missing something. Mathew: yeah. and i guess the host expects us to read them too Bob: Hosts are so demanding. I know, I always like screw one thing up in a challenge, and end up like second place. And then people think I am actually good at them, even though I always lose. Bob: But, this time, I bet we'll have a few people who try to not do so well on the challenge. Mathew: unless we got the moron tribe Bob: Well, I'm on it... So, it could go either way... Mathew: i think this tribe will be unruly Bob: Well, we have a pirate on it, so their may be some plundering Mathew: we have a pirate? Bob: Well, dude looks like a pirate Mathew: which one? Bob: Gerald Mathew: yes, i think i could see that Bob: I just hope he has one of them talking parrots. That would be cool. Bob: I don't know most of these people Mathew: me either Bob: You, Preston, that's it Mathew: just you and preston Bob: yep Mathew: and i think preston hates my guts Bob: really? I love how people hate people in these games. Mathew: yeah, i never got that Mathew: i lie to everybody, i dont see why some take it personally Bob: exactly. I get offended when you don't lie to me. Bob: That pisses me off. Mathew: well you wont have to worry about that Mathew: i promise Mathew: you have my word Bob: So, them me and you, final 2 all the way... on your honor! Mathew: you got it Mathew: i will NEVER vote for you Bob: Excellent. Me either. We'll be like blood brothers. Mathew: right on Bob: I think I'm gonna tell everyone I'm like 14 years old. Think they will buy it? Mathew: totally. i bet you could even try 12 Bob: cool. Then i could like totally fit in! Mathew: at least she didnt put our ages up. then id be totally ostracized because im the oldest Bob: yeah, being old sucks. Bob: I am usually the oldest in most of my games. Hence, the plan! Mathew: well [secret]lisa on the other tribe[/secret] is like 39 i think Bob: ah, yes. That should work for me. Someone I can point at and say, well, at least I'm not that old. Mathew: thats a good strategy Mathew: im sure at 21 i'll even be old to these people Bob: yep. typically. They should all start calling you 'Pa' Mathew: that would be cool Mathew: or like "old man mathew" Mathew: although, im sure in most cases it would be "old man matthew" Bob: yeah, maybe. But why be like most cases. Only having one 't' gives you character, and something to bitch at people about Mathew: this is true, and there are few things i enjoy more than that Bob: I think maybe I should also try to be an asshole. A 15 year old asshole with questionable sexuality. I would be a regular ORG all star Mathew: lol. definitely Mathew: theyd embrace you Bob: I'm not sure I want to be embraced by them... but i guess it may be worth a try.
Bob confesses…
Mathew is a no good, lying, untrustworthy son of a bitch. He can be whiney at times, bordering on bitchy. He believes it is his mission in life to switch and flip flop as many times as possible. He has the sort of off beat, and funny personality that let's him get far in games, because no one takes him seriously, and think that they can use him since he flips all the time. He is very dangerous.
I like him a lot.
Mathew and Sammi…
Sammi: yaah Bob has been posting up a storm Mathew: yeah, that bob, hes a wild man Sammi: do you know how old he is? Mathew: 32 right? Sammi: I dunno, he looked older, thass why I was wondering Sammi: I dont care Mathew: oh lol. im pretty sure its 32 Mathew: what do you think of the twist? Sammi: its that everyone is going for immunity right? Mathew: yeah, both tribes have to vote someone out Sammi: Its deffinately interesting! I cant wait to see how it plays out. Mathew: yeah same here Sammi: did you understand the lil riddle that was posted? Mathew: not sure what it means Sammi: me neither Sammi: then again Im not very good at riddles, chances are I'll get the answer and still not understand it Mathew: yeah, same here. i usually dont even think about it lol Sammi: yaah Im like, if I dont get it right away Im not gonna get it, lol Mathew: lol, yeah. and i wouldnt even know if i was right anyway Sammi: how many other ORGs have you played? Mathew: im not sure of the exact number, but somewhere around 30-40 Mathew: lol, most of them when i first started playing. ive played like 2 games in 2006 so far Sammi: ohhh. how long have you been playn for? Mathew: i think two years, maybe more Sammi: oh gotcha. Sammi: so a veteran compared to me Mathew: how long have you been playing? Sammi: like... since May, haha Sammi: well, I played one last yr, but hadnt done anything since this past one in May/June Mathew: oh lol, so you still enjoy it. not old and bitter like me. Sammi: no Im old and bitter too
Mathew confesses…
add sammi and amanda to the list of people i've talked to...
i'm giving sammi, let's say, 4 out of 5 stars.
as for amanda... right now, it's going to have to be 2 stars. but with a little work, she could bring that score up. i just know she has it in her.
Bob confesses…
OK, first off, the typical, first confessional thing. Who do I know from past games. Surprising, not to many. There's Preston, who when we last met, called me a disgusting person, who put's a Survivor game in front of other people's personal problems. Yet, we actually have an OK relationship, built on mistrust and shared belief in our abilities to manipulate each other. Then there is Mathew. Mathew is like playing Survivor with a cartoon character. What you see is only the funny and quirky character, not what is really behind that character. Mathew is the only person who I know who can play as an alias, as himself. I know, weird. Only think you will ever know about Mathew is that he can't be trusted, but he'll tell you that himself.
Bob and Preston…
Preston: looks like we're playin' together again, eh? Bob: Yeah., I just noticed that. Pretty cool. Bob: And we've even started on the same tribe this time Bob: Splendid! Preston: yea - i'm lovin it Bob: Yeah, I'm excited to be playing this game. I heard cool things about Tina as a host, plus, I know we won't have to wait like two months between episodes, which should be fun. Preston: yea i've heard REAL good things about tina Bob: It's kinda interesting. I don't know any of the people on this tribe, except for you and Matthew. Preston: yea, it is really weird Preston: i've been playin' long enough that i usually know most of the people when i start a game Bob: Yeah, I usually know, or have at least heard of most of them. Here, not so much. i guess it should make for a more interesting experience. Preston: *nods* you bet Bob: Plus, of course, the twist. All individual challenges, and TC every episode till the merge, makes things crazy. Preston: yea - i mean, you're my tribemate, but not my teammate Preston: its so strange Bob: Exactly, sort of changes the dynamic of things, people will probably try to target the stronger players first. There will be more temptations to keep the weaker players, which totally fucks up the way I like to play. I always perfer to hook up with people I think are stronger. Preston: *nods* Preston: i'm so scared all the inactives will slip through the whole time because people will want to take out the strong Bob: Yeah, I know. Personally, I would push early to get any inactive out. People think it's easier to keep them around. but the other tribe, and other alliances can use them against you. If you want the edge going into the merge, you need to keep your active players. But, people look at it differently Bob: At least some do. Preston: i agree with you Bob: Hopefully, we won't have inactives to worry about. Makes things more fun. Bob: I was surprised to see Mathew, I though he had retired. Preston: that kid cracks me up Bob: Yeah, he makes me laugh. Always interesting to have him aroun in a game. Preston: interesting is one way to put it Bob: Yeah, he is so off the wall that it's hard to get a read on him, and people underestimate how good of a player he is. Preston: mmhmm Bob: Hmmm... I think I'm the old guy in this game again. Lucky me! Preston: wow, have you met fey? Bob: I just did. Bob: Why? She's a little unique. Bob: Likes to talk in a circle. Bob: But, I sort of like that myself Preston: lol yea Preston: quite a character Bob: Yeah. Bob: I have a feeling this is going to be quite an interesting game. Preston: i hope so Bob: Yeah, It will definetly be fast paced, which I like. I get bored when things take too long. Preston: me 2 Bob: I think it would be interesting to sit in on Mathew and Fey having a conversation. Bob: Maybe headache causing. Preston: yea - those two crazies Bob: Lordy. What did I sign up for... :-P Bob: I keep thinking over this twist. It's so odd. Preston: yea it really is Bob: It's like we are thrusted right into the merge. Preston: yea LOL Bob: And there's another group playing the same game as us, just we'll never interact with them, until the actual merge Preston: mmhmm Bob: It's definelty going to be harder for people to slip under the radar. With us going to Tribal every episode. Preston: mmhmm Bob: Eh, I guess I shouldn't try an worry about it too much. Bob: Just have fun. Preston: mmhmm Bob: Well, I am at least glad we started on the same tribe. I always enjoyed playing with you, but we often ended up with totally different loyalties. Preston: let's not let that happen this time, eh? Bob: Yeah, absolutely not. I can be a bit of a jackass sometimes, but if I hook up with someone early, I stay fiercely loyal to them. Preston: yea - i'm the same way Bob: You and I being together from the beginning, could really shape how things go in this game. Preston: well if we make a deal here, i'm gonna stick with it Bob: I really thing we should. And we should be totally honest with each other. That way we can have at least one place where we can honestly discuss how we feel about people without being worried it will get leaked out to everyone else in the game Preston: you can tell me anythin and it's safe with me Preston: and i'll tell you whats goin' on Bob: Cool. Sounds like a deal with me. Bob: Anything you tell me will stay between you an me. Bob: You always need at least one person in a game who you can trust. Preston: well that's a deal Preston: and i'll stick with it Bob: I will as well.
Bob confesses…
Preston is an easy alliance, and one I think I can trust. We have had issues in the past, but I can spin them enough to keep him on my side. As long as he doesn't become the scary, whiny Preston, I can work with him. At least, in the game I played with him, despite the fact that I screwed him, and others over every chance I got, I stayed true to my main alliance. If he can see himself as my Jungle Fever Julia, things should go fine.
I'll have to keep an eye on him though. He likes multiple alliances.
Bob and Gerald…
Bob: You're Gerald, right? Gerald: right! Bob: Cool. Nice to meet you. I'm Bob. Gerald: Nice to meet you to! Gerald: So i really thought this game was going to start on sunday lol Gerald: so i wasn't online yesterday at all until later that night Bob: Eh, it's no problem. Challenges don't start till Sunday, so, basically, it's just a couple days of meeting the tribe. Gerald: yeah true Gerald: these first few days are always the hardest in my opinion Gerald: were you in Survivor Okinawa? I feel like i've seen you before lol Bob: No, I wasn't in Okinawa. I'm not sure where you may have seen me. I did do the Mario Lanza Apprentice thing. Gerald: lol maybe you just have one of those faces Bob: Besides that, I was in Jamie's Survivor: Avalon game. and a coupls of others that weren't all that big. Bob: Yeah, possibly. Gerald: yeah i knew you were in Avalon Gerald: A sign that you've been in too many orgs....you start to mistake people for other people haha Bob: Yeah, I know. I love it when you are in a games, and you have to try to figure exactly wihich Tyler or Ryan is playing with you. Gerald: i know! Gerald: it helps with people with people unique names so you can remember them easier Bob: Yeah, definitly. Of course, Bob ain't too unique. Gerald: either is Gerald really, but i haven't ran into another one so far Gerald: you're the first Bob i've met Bob: Yeah, i don't think I have met a different Gerald either. I think there was like one other Bob, but I never played with him, so he doesn't matter. Bob: You have been playing for a while too. I'm pretty sure I've seen you around here or there, but we never played together. Gerald: i've been playing too much Gerald: honestly i think it may hurt me in this game to for some reason Gerald: i don't want to look like a threat you know? Gerald: i must sound paranoid...lol...sorry Bob: Nah, I understand totally. The twist is weird and I think people are going to try to downplay their strengths because of it. Gerald: i didn't understand the twist at first Bob: I personallty wouldn't worry too much. Even with the twist, I perfer to be around strong and active people. Gerald: because someone just told me that we were doing Individual Immunity, so I thought we were doing both that and tribal immunity Gerald: it's definately different i guess Gerald: yeah i prefer that to Gerald: i especially like keeping people around who are talkative Bob: Yeah, it's sort of like we're post merge already, but there is this other group that is playing the same game as us, but we won't interact with at all. Gerald: I'm sure we'll interact with them sooner or later Gerald: Tina's bound to mess up the tribes a little Gerald: i always get the messy end of that deal Bob: Yeah, I know. Tribal switches are unpleasant, and they always end up screwing over players who are active, but I guess you need to be prepared for anything. Gerald: yeah exactly Bob: I'm just happy that our tribe isn't all kids right now. I don;t mind a couple, but I hate when I end up with like all 14 years old boys who think they are Survivor gods... Gerald: oh i know! Gerald: I mean i know i'm only 17 and all but i generally get along with people who are older than me Gerald: and find it harder to talk to them Bob: Yeah, I usually get along well with people like 17 and older. Especially when they've been playing a while. The younger teens have a tendency to lecture me on how to play the game, which I find less than amusing. Bob: This group seems pretty good though. Should be interesting to see how things play out. Gerald: Yeah i like it! Gerald: i liked that i hardly knew anyone Gerald: that was different for me Bob: Yeah, I know. It can be frustrating when you get into a game, and you know almost the whole tribe your on. This game should me much more interesting not really knowing anyone. Gerald: yeah true Gerald: this game is kind of tricky because you can't vote someone out based on their strengths in the challenge (well unless you're going after threats) it like makes us search for other reasons to vote people out Bob: Exactly. I think more people will try to hide under the radar, and hope just not to stand out. Which gets frustrating at points. A lot of it will have to do with the personalities on the tribe. So far, most of those that I have talked to see pretty cool. So, I have no idea how I would base my first vote, unless someone totally is just inactive. Gerald: yeah i agree Gerald: I find it kind of hard to talk to some of them... but only a few Bob: I just hope people don't try to keep the inactives around since it isn't going to be tribal challenges. Bob: Well, I just talked to Sammi for like 30 seconds, before she took off. First time I talked to her. Bob: I talked to Preston, Fey and Mathew yesterday. Gerald: She just imed me, very quick, she's easy to talk to tho Gerald: Whats Fey and Mathew like? Bob: It's sort of funny, they are both sort of similiar, They basically make a lot of jokes, and stuff. Fey was sort of flirty, but not overly so. I had no trouble talking to the, Bob: I don't think Myke will be around, his AIM profile says he's away for the weekend. Gerald: unfortunate for him Bob: yep... it's hard when you miss the beginning of games, and I think with this game it will be even harder. Gerald: yeah exactly Gerald: i thought i saw him on the board the other night...maybe that was the other Mike tho Bob: yeah, maybe. I haven't seen him at all.
Bob confesses…
Gerald. He has a bad reputation and is the type of player who is bad for my style of play. I usually like them when I first meet them, then regret it later. I'll have to play this one closely. There is potential for me to use him to get me to the merge, but then could cut me in half. We'll see.
Preston and Amanda…
Preston : hey amanda Amanda : hi Preston : <----preston from jungle fever 3 Amanda : oh hi, i didnt get the link o the board yet so i dont know the cast yet Preston : there should be one in your e-mail Amanda : but its nice to meet you preston Amanda : its not there, dragon said she would send it to me in a min Preston : nice to make your aquaintance as well Amanda : k im finally on the board Preston : looks great, doesnt it? Preston : i'm real excited, tina seems like an awesome host Amanda : i heard she is Amanda : is this your first org Preston : nope Preston : i've been playin' for three years Preston : and you? Amanda : this is only my second game Amanda : really its probaly my first since the last one i played my host quit half way through it
Preston : what do you think of the cast? Amanda : only 3 girls......grrrr
Preston confesses…
Coming into this game, I expected that I would be put on a tribe, and as a tribe would become a team and compete together as a team. But, five minutes into the game, I find out that's not the case. As it turns out, tribal immunity will not exist in this game. The only immunity we'll be competing for from the get-go is individual. It's like we skipped half of the game and are already at the merge. I expected to be breaking the ice with all of these new people by talking about how much we're gonna kick some ass, but instead, we're all each other's competition. It's a very strange scenario.
I've been trying to feel everyone out, and trying to feel out who can be my buddy. It's just in my personality to want to be around girls. I'm a fairly attractive guy, I love flirting, it's just a natural fit. But, Amanda and Fey are both kind of out there. Fey is wild and unpredictible, while Amanda is extremely nice, but VERY predictible. Both have their pros and cons, but neither would be ones I'd like to allign with in a long-term kind of deal.
I immediately connected with Bob. Bob seems like a good guy, an honest guy, but I'm still kind of feeling him out. We made a pact to work together, but there's nothing to stop him from playing me. He could've made that deal with everyone. Who knows? I just have to keep my eyes and ears open.
Gerald and Fey…
Fey: hey Gerald is it? Fey: this is Fey from Jungle Fever Gerald: OMG! i've been wanting to talk to you Gerald: yeah this is Gerald
Gerald: is this your first org? Fey: I guess it may technically just be my 2nd, I started another one last week Gerald: it's always nice to have new people Gerald: how did you get invovled Fey: fresh meat? Gerald: not really Gerald: it's just refreshing that you don't have to deal with the same people over again Fey: got grounded and had absolutely nothing to do so I surfed the internet and tried to look for shit, just came across a site and thought why not give it a shot Gerald: nice Gerald: their fun games i guess Gerald: they can get a little nasty tho Fey: that seems rather dumb its just online shit right? Gerald: right Gerald: but people can get worked up over them Gerald: they often can get nastier than the actual show lol Fey: give me a little and I may understand it but for now it seems stupid Gerald: well you never know Gerald: i hope you don't see that Gerald: i hate when people take these games too seriously Gerald: because their meant to be fun Fey: 2 games and I'm probably bound to but I may just have to laugh at it Gerald: yeah Gerald: that's what you have to do Gerald: have you talked to everyone yet? Fey: most definitely not just you and a few people the other day Gerald: i've talked to most of them except Mathew, Myke Fey: tomorrow at 9 is when we begin the game? Gerald: thats when the first challenge is Gerald: i really thought that tomorrow would be the start of the game lol Fey: I did too Fey: the other game I'm in started with like a big chat and shit Fey: just read something on the message board about it being 24 hours Gerald: thats how usually games start Gerald: but this one was different Gerald: kind of liked the change Gerald: you get to know people better Fey: yeah I guess thats true Gerald: do you watch the show survivor? Gerald: im gay btw i usually dont know how to tell people right off but i don't like to hide it Fey: no I just thought it would be a lark to the play the game I know nothing about Fey: what do you think dumbass? Gerald: getting fiesty with me Fey: I'm straight, so now we're even in the field of sexuality knowledge Fey: always fiesty Gerald: mayhap we are Gerald: well Gerald: whose your favorite survivor then Gerald: this is the ultimate question Gerald: there is no wrong answer Fey: put me on the spot why don't you Gerald: lol sorry Gerald: its my job Fey: i have no fucking clue, I go season to season Gerald: ahh Gerald: yeah me too Fey: are we in monty python? what's the 3rd question? Gerald: the third question is the first again! Gerald: i don't know Gerald: i've only seen that movie once Gerald: the Monky Python and the holy grail Gerald: i realize it is a tv show to i tihnk? Fey: Monky? Monty! Gerald: think* Gerald: SORRY Fey: flying circus was their Tv show Gerald: my typing gets sooo bad at night Fey: sure go ahead and blame it on the typing Gerald: I'll like pay attention right now Gerald: survivor is kind of lame to me Gerald: well the recent seasons i should say Fey: it never gets old for me Fey: maybe I'm weird Fey: fuck that I now I'm weird Gerald: you may just be Fey: I'm definitely a bad girl but weird is applicable too Gerald: now it's your turn to ask me a question Gerald: make it difficult Gerald: but no math please haha Fey: how many times you been arrested? Gerald: i love bad girls Gerald: and im def in love with bad boys Gerald: actually i've NEVER been arrested Gerald: but i've been pulled over Fey: absolutely lame Gerald: sorry Gerald: I can't break the law and look pretty all the time Fey: for real though that's good, don't go getting arrested, keep it clean Gerald: but sometimes you just gotta dirty Gerald: so how about this crazy game we are in Gerald: what about that crazy twist Gerald: that i didn't fucking understand until i re read it lol Fey: whats not to understand? maybe I missed something too Gerald: well Gerald: originally i thought there were would be tribal immunity to Gerald: but it's just individual Gerald: i think i may just be dumb Gerald: or blind Gerald: you pick one Fey: why not both? Gerald: because Gerald: it's not possible Gerald: so tell me your entire strategy so we can be final two already!!! Gerald: just kidding Fey: what strategy? Gerald: good girl
Fey confesses…
GERALD - Great conversationalist and I loved the flow of the conversation.

Immunity Challenge – Story Time Tree MailHere's a book I'll sit on your lap Tell me a story Until I take a nap Description: In this challenge, you will begin a thread in your tribe forum titled "Immunity Challenge #1". You will simply tell me a story to keep me amused. Tell me a story about the jungle. Make it funny. I like to laugh. Each tribe member will take turns writing a sentence for the story. For example: Fred writes: "Once upone a time in a far away jungle there lived an ape." Pam writes: "This ape had a nervous twitch and careened to the left when he walked." Suzie writes: "One day, the ape, who's name is Radcliff, found himself lost in the jungle." etc...etc. Rules: 1. You can only post one sentence at a time. 2. You cannot post twice in a row. Someone must post after you before you can post again. 3. If the story gets to the point where it's not making any sense, due to random sentences, I will delete those sentences and your post won't count toward your final score. The challenge will start NOW and end at 7:30 pm tomorrow night. Then I will count posts. Whichever tribe member has the most posts at the end of that time will win immunity and be safe at tribal council. In the event of a tie, the person who posted last will win immunity. After the challenge is over I will immediately tally the score and announce the immunity winner. Directly after that I will post Tribal Council in your tribe forums along with questions for you to answer. Survivors ready? GO! RESULTS: Kejaman.... total posts: 243 Fey - 0 Mike - 1 Jacob - 2 Preston - 3 Bob - 15 Mathew - 17 Sammi - 47 Amanda - 70 Gerald - 88 GERALD WINS IMMUNITY!!!! Amanda confesses… So G won immunity, with me being a close second. i guess the plan is to vote off preston. i really thought he would be one of the cast members that i would get along with but, he is very quiet. and he made some people mad last night during immunity challege. he was posting but was not logged into AIM. we all were in a chat room and had a post order that we were following so he was screwing us up. tomorrow night is next immunity and the riddle says something about knowing your story, so im assuming it questions about the story we created. that sucks our story is very long. our story has more than double of the other tribe. oh well i guess its time to study the story..it was damn good. and just when the story got intresting....LOCKED!!!! shit!!!!! it was alot of fun though. as far as i know it me/G/sammi/jacob and fey. i still havnt talked to that girl or seen her on but G says shes cool. whatever....... Amanda and Gerald… Gerald: are we ok with voting preston? Amanda: yes, congrats Gerald: thanks Gerald: you gave me a run for my money ;-) Amanda: wow i didnt even think we were that close Amanda: lol look how much more we have than the other tribe Gerald: i know Gerald: that's so awesome Gerald: shows that we're more dedicated Gerald: preston PMed me on the board for some reason Gerald: and was asking me to keep him updated on what happened Gerald: and i was like um wtf Amanda: updated about what? Gerald: like Gerald: tribal council Gerald: and i dont know why he chose me Amanda: i just checked he sent me one too Gerald: oh Gerald: ok so i dont feel so special anymore Gerald: he prolly sent everyone one Amanda: he said please im me who i need to vote for Gerald: he did that to me to Bob confesses… Eh, I am a bit worried about how this game is starting out. I think I may be on the outside of the main loop, in some sort of secondary purgatory place. I think I am safe for this vote, and probably, with enough pressure, could find safety for the next three, but, then, I would be in a whole lotta trouble, baby! The positive sides of things, I am not in an unworkable situation. I will play the Tribal Loyalty card, the "go team" aspects, but it just may not be as feasible in this game. I need to strike some definite working relationships out. Right now, I have a deal with Preston, but from the way things look, Preston may be in trouble. This leads me to a dilemma. I could probably push, make a play, and save him from this vote, but he will then probably crap out, and go second or third and I would have Preston stink on me. Trying too hard to save someone's ass only end up opening people's radar. And, if he is destined for the big boot, then keeping him around only makes it more dangerous for me. If I want to do it, I need to push the anti-Myke agenda, instead of the Pro-Preston agenda. This makes it a much more feasible and workable situation. Yet, I also must remember, that this is all based of information from Gerald. Gerald could be a force in this game. Worst case scenario, Gerald and Fey team up, and then control the game. Sammi could be a player, but I don't think she has the ability to be a power player like Fey does. That leaves me in the third or fourth wheel position. Now, I've played form that position before, and it's actually not a bad place, but it limits my possibilities. The problem is, the fringers, players on the edge who could be pulled together to make a counter strike again whatever Gerald is cooking up are not people I see myself hooking up with. Let's face it, Jacob has all the personality of a nerf ball. And not one of them cool, multicolored nerf balls with the parallel grooves. So, I need to start playing the social game. This really isn't about alliances yet, but the building blocks to them. I need to start laying these bricks, or I am going to end up on the street. Gerald and Mathew… Mathew: gj on immunity Gerald: thanks Gerald: i kinda wanted it but then i didn't Gerald: i dont want to look like a threat you know Mathew: yeah. that wasnt a real threatening challenge though. so i guess if anything, you just look enthusiastic Gerald: maybe Gerald: i thought it was really fun Gerald: i like doing stuff like that Gerald: im kinda a big nerd lol Mathew: me too. wish i was around for more of it Mathew: any thoughts on tc? Gerald: im thinking people are voting preston? Gerald: im not sure tho Gerald: what have you heard Mathew: i heard preston too. thats all though Gerald: i guess myke could be voted off Gerald: but i don't know Mathew: i havent talked to either one : | Gerald: yeah their basically the same person Mathew: lol. yes Mathew: i love this twist lol Gerald: i do too kinda Gerald: it gets the game going fast tho Gerald: but it makes you think Gerald: because you can't vote people out because their weak Mathew: yeah Mathew: we should do it randomly Mathew: like wheel of fortune Gerald: yeah totally Mathew: as long as someone else name comes up of course Gerald: yeah Mathew confesses… well geraldo said preston too. i feel extremely out of touch with this group. hopefully it's just stupid of me. i'll try to talk to sammi and amanda and bob tomorrow. goodnight. Gerald confesses… So....winning immunity was great. I was totally shocked that I won! NOT! My tribe loves me so much that they want to make me feel safe. I'm totally awesome. The last few days have been very interesting, I like this first stage of the game where I can bullshit people, and it's people I'VE never even talked to before so it makes it ten times better. It literally tickles my pickle to know how much my tribe loves me. I know Jason and Brian on the other tribe prolly expect something at merge but I don't really care. I don't really think I would align with them. I don't feel up to it honestly. I've basically secured my place in this tribe, I honestly think I'm the leader of all of them. You can just call me the sheep leader because I got my sheep trotting along behind me. I think later in the game they could start to see that i'm this controlling mastermind but for the time being they will not notice. I think the only person who might notice would be Mathew, he's a little shady on my part.

Tribal Council Welcome to tribal council. Please grab a torch and light it in the pit. Fire represents life in the jungle. Once your fire has been extinguished, your game has come to an end. Have a seat and let's get started. Since this is the first tribal council I just have some general questions for everyone to answer. 1. With the twist, do you think the game will be different knowing that you have to vote someone off every TC? Jacob - Well, yeah, it will be completely different then because we know that we will always be at danger, since we have to go to every tribal council, it is definitely goign to spice the game up. Amanda - Of course, wheels will definitly be spining into overdrive knowing someone has to go each time. We dont get the luxury of a team immunity from a win so the game will get dramatic very quickly. Preston - I don't think that voting someone out every tribal council will change the game, I think the fact that we've basically gone straight to a merge changes the game. Nobody here has a teammate, the whole game has gone straight to the everyone-for-themselves stage. Sammi - A lot different. Because no one is really safe unless you have immunity. The fact that you could leave at any point is scary, esp when you would think winning as a tribe would keep you safe. Bob - I think the game will be different for many reasons. Immunity Challenges take on a whole new meaning in this format. I think we have to work even harder outside of the "game" aspects to form a bond as a tribe. That being said, I think this tribe is made up of a lot of great individuals, and I don't think there has been any lack of bondage (ummmm.... well, you know what I mean.) Myke - ah besdies the fact of every man for him or herself i dont think it will effect it too much, their might be a bit of backstabbing a bit early but thats in any game Mathew - maybe a little : ) it should be fun either way, nobody likes to be bored. Gerald - The game makes you think more, you can't vote out people because their weak because we're not competing as a tribe. I suppose it targets stronger players more than than the weaker. I like the idea of voting someone off every TC because it makes the game interesting. 2. Hopefully, you've gotten to know your tribe mates. Is there anyone that stands out as a leader right now? Jacob - I don't think there is anybody that really stands out to me as a leader. I think that the tribe is made up of all good people, and I don't think a leader has emerged yet Amanda - Not yet, so far only introductions and getting to know you stuff has been going on. And with the 1st challenge its not like you needed brains to compete in it, just a little imagination that anyone weak or strong could have excelled in. Preston - I don't think we have a leader, because there's no leading to be done. It's a battle royale, and we're not working toward any common goals as a tribe. There are people here that could be leaders if needed, but the need just isn't there. Sammi - Hmmm. I dont think so. We've all got qualities to be a leader. But its still to earlier to say. Bob - People stand out for a lot of different reasons. No one really needs to be a leader right now. We have no need for someone to organize the tribe for challenges. So, I think there is more freedom to find their role in the tribe, without looking out for the "leader" stigma. Right now, after talking to people and seeing the work done on the challenge, I don't think we really need a leader. We have a bunch of smart, competent, and interesting people on the tribe, who don't need anyone one person to direct them. Myke - nope not really.. its too early to tell in my opinion Mathew - no. i don't think we'll ever really have one as long as it's an individual game. some may be more vocal than others but it doesn't really matter when we aren't playing for a team win. Gerald - Not really...It's too early for a leader in my opinion 3. Again, a twist question. Do you think the votes will lean towards the stronger or weaker tribe mates knowing that you'll be going into the merge with even numbers? Jacob - That's the $1,000,000 question it seems. I think you can play the game 2 ways, you can play it where you go after all the stronger players, so in the end you're faced with a bunch of weaker players. Or, you can vote off weaker players and make the game more intense, especially when it gets down to merge time. I'm hoping that the right person goes this Tribal Council. Amanda - I would think that being so early in the game that votes would probably lean towards weaker players, it may change later down the road but knowing the merge will have equal players from each tribe one may think we need the stronger players to survive once the merge is here. Preston - I would think that the votes are going to lean toward the stronger members, because there would seem to be no reason to keep them, but I hope that's not the case. I think it's too early to tell who's strong and who's weak anyway. Sammi - Hmmmm... good question. You would think that ppl would want the stronger out first to have the weaker ones to play with. Its really however you observe it. Personally... I have no idea. Bob - I can't really say how others will lean, just myself. In my opinion, keeping weak, easily manipulated players is a mistake for the tribe. Firstly, you want some people to be able to win the challenges to keep immunity out of the hands of the other tribe members come merge time. Secondly, sometimes people like to keep inactive, or less active players, because they think they will be an easy vote later. Yet, I have seen that strategy turned against people, and bite them in the ass down the road. So, for me, I think keeping strong players who I can trust around me for the inevitable showdown with the other tribe is more important than keeping an "easy vote" around. Myke - i think to start out everyone doesnt know whos weak and whos strong just yet its gonna be the less active people who go first and then it will boil down to whos stronger and get them out as if they r more of a threat Mathew - i think it will be a popularity contest at every tribal council for the first few rounds. why eliminate threats now? then there's no threats to eliminate after the merge. Gerald - Its a mix in my opinion, I think people may go after the strong tribe mates but that's after a length of time. I'm sure not many people want to stand out as threat and win immunity, but ultimately someone has to win it every round. For Gerald: I always need to ask the immunity holder...would you care to give it up or would it be easier to pry it from your cold lifeless bones? Gerald - I'm keeping it hehe! Once the votes are read the decision is final. That person will be asked to leave the tribe immediately. I'll read the votes.. . . . . Gerald writes down…[PRESS+TON] Sorry preston but you suck. . . . . . Fey (self vote). . . . . Amanda writes down…i cast my vote for preston, he made alot of us mad when the challenge went on for posting and not being online. thats it otherwise hes ok but quiet. . . . . . Sammi writes down…I vote to evict Preston. Why Preston... I dont really know. I wanted Myke, but it seemed to have changed that we might beable to use him? I dont know. I like Preston, he's a sweetheart, but I need to go w/ consenous... esp w/ my alliance. . . . . . Myke writes down…well well here we are at our frist tribal council and well i havent gotten to know many of the cast just yet im gonna go on a vain vote i may not know anyone too well and so forth but im just gonna go on a who i think id rather see stick around longer and who i can fathom at being gone so with that being said i vote to evict jacob.. sorry my bro.. just i dont know you nor do i know anything about you.. and well i know a lil bit bout the girls, not to mention they r nice and pretty to look at lol and some of the other guys arent hard on the eyes either... i just cant live with voting off people i havent gotten to know yet and that i wish to know so with that being said.. sorry bro.. if ur gone ur gone.. if not... good luck and ill see u in the game the rest of this week.. . . . . . Mathew writes down…Preston "I have to go with the majority on this one even though I don't agree with it. Sorry" . . . . . Bob writes down…Vote: Preston Well, this sucks. Do I fall on the knife, and save him, or do I weakly capitulate to the whims of the majority? What are the moral implications? Now, if I could find more justification to fight, maybe I would. I understand he's away, but Preston has a history of going inactive, and while I thought it would be different this time, I have my doubts. So, I am going back on my word and voting for him. I don't like it. I can play cutthroat if need be, but i don't do it just for fun. I have my work cut out for me. . . . . . Preston writes down…Myke . . . . . Jacob writes down…Well, It obviously isn't good being at Tribal Council, and I hope that I can still remain in the game... I vote... P-R-E-S-T-O-N You seem to be the oddball out of the tribe, you don't try to communicate with us and it seems that you are seperating yourself from the group. You're a great guy, but I just have to do this. . . . . . Preston, the tribe has spoken. It's time for you to go. Preston’s Final words… I really had a bad feeling that this was coming. Whenever you're not around to defend yourself, especially at the first tribal council, it's very easy for people to just gang up on you and boot you out. I still was optimistic going into tribal and didn't see it coming a mile away. I thought that I had some people on my side, with Sammi, and Gerald, and especially Bob, and I thought they'd come through for me. But, that's the game. I'm sure they had their reasons strategically, and no sour grapes about it whatsoever. The timing of the game was not great for me, but I had a fun time while it lasted. I met some great characters in the few days I was here, and that's something I'll carry with me forever. So remember everyone, Amici, Familiae, Amore! Boo-yah! King Petey's out!
